Because they don’t know which ones are going to sell lots and which ones are going to fail

In games they cover all the different types of games like first person shooters or role playing games to address the demographics
In games they only produce a few products because they take a couple of years to produce
Cinema
Cinema is very similar to the games and music industry
In cinema they cover all the genres
But they release more products to the market
TV
Makes a variety of programmes in lots of different genre types
The shows that people don’t really watch get dropped after there first season
They give them time to improve or see if its just off to a bad start then they drop it if there is no improvement before the season is finished. They rarely drop a show before the first season
Radio
Radio is kind of similar to tv in the way that they makes lots of programmes in different genres but radio0 have commercial radio to target are specific audiences
Press
In press they have only a few major papers that make a lot of profit there is rarely a new newspaper coming out
Each of the major newspapers like the sun all appeal to a demographic
Magazines are different they are made for specific demographics like oaps who like car design or teenagers girls who want to lose weight
These are attractive to advertises because they instantly know which audience are going to be looking at the product
